About Ivy Iverson, LMT
I am a seasoned medical massage therapist of 30 years. I was raised in the US in a family that honored alternative healthcare approaches, yet used medicine when appropriate. Throughout my career, I have helped professional athletes, healthcare providers, and others relieve pain. My heart is dedicated to helping anyone on a journey that may be more challenging than expected.
Businesses are often born from a passionate experience, an obvious need in a community, or a lived tragedy. This has been my journey. A childhood accident that led to chronic pain, a life-changing diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease, and a dramatic loss of a loved one due to chronic pain, spurred me to help others in need.
After a colon surgery, years of chronic pain, weight gain, systemic inflammation, and loss of joy and motivation, I turned my life around by changing my diet. This change transformed my life. I lost 142 lbs. and eliminated symptoms of my chronic illness. Mentored by the dynamic body working rock star, Nancy Toner-Weinberger, former publisher of the PERG, I have been a Board-approved CE instructor with NCBTMB in the US since 2018.
After COVID restrictions, a health crisis, and a relocation to Spain, team ECHO and I are rebuilding a CE online presence so that we can continue to offer career-changing approaches to other massage therapists. US-based massage therapists can gain new insights, approaches, and results-driven care for their careers to become more successful and sustainable by adopting these unique techniques for bodywork and massage.
I live in València with my husband Mark, where I work remotely as an online educator, copywriter, and author.
